People know towel rack,towel ring,robe hook and etc are used in bathroom.Where buy them will be cheaper,which color looks better for them bathroom.But people may not know how these product be produced,what’s material are made of.There is no complete introduction of bathroom accessories from website or magazine.
After my own 14 years work experience in bathroom accessories,i have an idea to write an article to let people know more about bathroom accessories.
1.What’s of bathroom accessories?
Bathroom accessories is a part from sanitaryware,mainly include robe hook,tumbler holder,soap dish,towel ring,paper holder,glass shelf,towel bar,towel rack,toilet brush holder,corner baseket and etc.

There are mainly 4 kinds material are made of bathroom accessories.
①Zinc material:
Density： 7.1g/m³
Feature：mlting point 382-386℃ good liquidity srong plasticity
Corrosion resistance：medium
②Brass material:
Density：8.92g/cm³
Feature：mlting point 1083℃ good liquidity medium plasticity for bathroom accessories,mainly used for faucet body
Corrosion resistance：strong
③Stainless steel material:
Density： 7.70-8.0g/cm³
Feature：mlting point 1398~1538℃ hard liquidity normal plasticity
Corrosion resistance：SS430＜SS201＜SS202＜SUS304＜SUS316
④Aluminum material:
Density： 2.7g/cm³
Feature：mlting point 660℃ good liquidity good plasticity
Corrosion resistance：medium
3.How to produce bathroom accessories?
①Zinc material bathroom accessories:
Melted zinc alloy→ model die-casting→ metal work→polishig→plating→packing
②Brass material bathroom accessories:
Hot extrusion→ metal work→polishig→plating→packing
③Stainless steel material bathroom accessories:
Laser machine cut by drawings→polishig→mirror finish or plating→packing
④Aluminum material bathroom accessories：
Model casting→ metal work→polishig→oxidation or plating→packing
4.How to know quality of bathroom accessories？
①Zinc material bathroom accessories：
Pickling→nickel plating→chrome plating
Nickel: 4-8μ Chrome: 0.15-0.2 μ
Nickel more thickness will get strong rust prevention ability
②Brass material bathroom accessories：
Pickling→nickel plating→chrome plating
Nickel: 4-8μ Chrome: 0.15-0.2 μ
Nickel more thickness will get strong rust prevention ability
③Stainless steel bathroom accessories：
Ultrasonic cleaning→mirror→plating
Corrosion resistance:SS430＜SS201＜SS202＜SUS304＜SUS316
④Aluminum material bathroom accessories：
Oxidation→plating
Nickel: 2-3μ Chrome: 0.15 μ
